The Definitive Rating Of Ben And Jerry's Flavors

If you go to school in Burlington, home of the most glorious ice cream brand, you probably (unless maybe you have an allergy) have at least tasted, if not devoured, almost every single flavor of Ben and Jerry's at least once in your life. The combinations are endless. And each spoonful is a magical experience. Luckily, us folks here at Groovy UV have such easy access to the many different euphoric flavors. After spending the past two years closely taste-testing the many different flavors I have come to a definitive rating of the top 10 flavors. Here it is:

10. Triple Caramel Chunk

Kind of just like magical Rolo ice cream. Caramel goodness oozing everywhere with the extra crunch of the fudge covered caramel chunks. YUM!

9. Mint Chocolate Chunk

Definitely the most refreshing and light flavor. Mint Chocolate Chunk is perfect for satisfying my ice cream craving without overwhelming me with a ton of chocolate.

8. Phish Food

Just pure goodness. I promise.

7. Americone Dream

It may have chunks of waffle cone in it, but I'm still getting it in a huge chocolate dipped waffle cone.

6. Half Baked

It's not just chocolate chip cookie dough, but also fudge brownie!!! NOM NOM NOM! I need this in my mouth right now!

5. Chocolate Therapy

WHAT? WHAT ARE THEY SELLING?!

CHOCOLATE!

WHAT ARE THEY SELLING?!

CHOCOLATE!

Need I say more?

4. The Tonight Dough

When this flavor was first released last year I refused to order anything else. It's a combination of everything wonderful in life (caramel, chocolate, bits of cookie, and cookie dough). One scoop of The Tonight Dough and one scoop of Chocolate Therapy and I'll be happy the rest of the day.

3. Chocolate Fudge Brownie

While Chocolate Fudge Brownie may be a little less chocolate-y than Chocolate Therapy, the fudge brownie chunks make up for it and make it an enriching flavor. There's nothing better to satisfy those late night chocolate cravings.

2. Milk and Cookies

What is better than chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream? Chocolate chip cookie dough mixed with chocolate cookie. The extra chocolate is really what makes this a mouth-watering flavor.

1. Cherry Garcia

This flavor named after Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia is a classic. It's one of those flavors you never need to be "in the mood" for. We all know that nothing is quite as satisfying as a bite of this delicious flavor.

*PSA:

Free Cone Day is April 12th, so get your butts in the absurdly long line at Ben and Jerry's. I promise, the hour long wait will be worth it!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
