A Definitive Ranking Of Harry Styles's Best Designer Suits

As we all know, Harry Styles, God among men, One Direction member and my 'Only Angel' (had to make that reference), just released his debut solo album, single-handedly saving the year 2017. While his music is, and always will be, the focus of our attention, he's been a style leader since his X-Factor days. He's never been afraid to step outside the box with some daring fashion choices (he's an Aquarius, after all). I am a big fan of Mr. Styles’s outfits, therefore, I have decided that it is my duty to create a ranked list of some of my favorite suits he's worn throughout his career.

Before we begin, let’s get one thing straight: I am not a fashion expert. In fact, I buy most of my clothes at Forever 21, so I am more of a fashion tragedy. My observations are based solely off of my personal reactions upon seeing these suits and Twitter research. Also, being the absolute icon that he is, I can’t include every outfit he’s ever worn, so I've narrowed it down to my top 10 favorites. Let’s begin.

1. BBC Radio Studio 1. 2017.

We’re starting with the best, because I like to eat my dessert first. This Vivienne Westwood suit is serving us picnic blanket realness. Harry wore this for his album debut in London, and when I saw it on Twitter at approximately 3:00 a.m. EST, I nearly had an aneurysm. Harry is always one to kill it with plaid, and this instance was no exception. The slightly unbuttoned, flowy shirt under was the perfect match to make every human in the Milky Way Galaxy faint on command. 10/10 would recommend.

2. 'Harry Styles' Album Photo Shoot. 2017.

Alrighty, this one is almost at a tie for number one, but I'm a sucker for plaid, so we all have to understand that. I love this suit so much, I’ve literally had dreams about it. It’s by Hillier Bartley, which, while I don’t know anything about fashion, sounds pretty boujee. It’s blue velvet, and that speaks to my soul. It’s also a women’s suit, so fuck your gender roles. The fact that Harry is wearing it surrounded by some kind of Lush bath bomb water makes it more #relatable for us peasant people.

3. Saturday Night Live. 2017.

Okay kids, we might have to sit down for this one. HOW ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH DID THIS MAN MAKE A CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL UNIFORM PATTERN LOOK SO GOOD? Everything about this ensemble is on point. Of course, he wore Gucci, because he's Harry freaking Styles, and I am here for it. I told you I love plaid.

4. The Today Show. 2017

Don’t even get me started on this suit. The color? I die. I see you, honey, slaying my Pinterest board with the millennial pink. I don't even know what it is, but this Edward Sexton suit makes me want to be a better person. This suit is my religion.

5. 'Sign of the Times' Music Video. 2017.

As mentioned before, I’m fashion illiterate, but even I know that this outfit is not a suit. However, I’m including it anyway because this is my house, and I make the rules. Here, Harry is wearing a Gucci coat and Burberry sweater, which are both hella fancy. I love this outfit because he looks adorable and cuddly, while still looking more expensive and prestigious than my entire lineage. He's also wearing this while flying. Sporty.

6. American Music Awards. 2015.

You may have been asking yourself why I was labeling each suit by year if they were all from 2017. Well, here is your answer. We're throwing it back to 2015, a.k.a. the golden age of Harry Styles's hair. This Gucci suit reminds me of a tea party or something, and I dig that. I love how the pants flare out at the bottom. I'm trying to give reasons why I like it, but I feel like I don't need to. You know why. It's just some good content.

7. Rolling Stone. 2017.

This Alexander McQueen suit reminds me of my grandma’s house, but, like, in a good way. It has that baroque pattern that is all over her curtains. Harry took that pattern and made it his bitch, and that’s beautiful. A+ for you, sir.

8. Party at The Edition Hotel. 2015.

Back at it again with another Gucci suit. I love it all. The pattern. The skinny pants. The hair. Enough said. Next.

9. Love Magazine London Fashion Week Party. 2015.

I feel like everyone can love this suit. It's Gucci (shocker), it's unique and I'll never get tired of looking at it, even if the optical illusion pattern may be deteriorating my already suffering eyesight.

10. Another Man X Dior Party. 2016.

Our last, but certainly not least in the grand scheme of life because it still surpasses my entire existence, suit is this Saint Laurent number. At this point, I don't even have to tell you why I like it. He's just a perfect person. Everything he does, wears, sings, whatever is perfect. That's it. Goodnight.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
