The Definitive Ranking Of Fast Food

The Definitive Ranking Of Fast Food

Fast food is amazing. Yes, it is high in sodium and calories, but no one ever said it was healthy. But have you ever wondered which fast food place is truly the best? Wonder no longer, because this completely unofficial and personally biased ranking will clear up all your questions.

Conditions: To be considered fast-food the store needs to have a drive-thru, sorry Subway and Moe's.

10. Arby's.

Before I start on Arby's let's all remember how good their curly fries are! Nowhere else makes curly fries that good! But besides that what else is there? A roast beef sandwich? Arby's is the place you're only going to go if you're having some odd craving for their limited menu. Half the time you assume they've shut down because no one really goes there.

9. Dunkin' Donuts.

I like their bagels and breakfast sandwiches, but besides that Dunkin' Donuts doesn't have a lot going for it. Their donuts are not very good and often taste stale, and their coffee is weak and tastes like old coffee grinds. If you're going to go there, stick with their sandwiches and bagels, because everything else is cheap.

8. KFC.

KFC is pretty good, there's no denying that. But only If you're willing to spend more money. On the surface KFC looks about the same price-wise as its competitors, but the portions are tiny. More often then not one finds themselves trying to fill up on the sides because their food is already gone. And their side dishes are anything but satisfying, canned corn and cheap mashed potatoes may make you reminiscent about your old high school lunches, but it doesn't make it good.

7. McDonald's.

Yes, I know what you're thinking, there is no way that McDonald's is this far down! It's the first place anyone thinks of when talking about fast food. But really if you look at it, McDonald's is just OK. The burgers are OK, the fries are OK, even the milkshakes are just OK. The only truly good thing to come from McDonald's is the Shamrock Shake, and we only get that for an all-too-brief period every year. A plus for McDonald's though, they are pretty much in every country around the world.

6. Burger King.

Burger King is pretty much McDonald's under a different title, with onion rings and a slightly better choice of burger. Burger King may be ahead of McDonald's on this list but only by a very, very slight margin. Their fries are arguably about the same, their chicken nuggets are about the same, and the only way to tell the difference between the burgers is Burger King's signature sesame seed buns.

5. Wendy's.

The undisputed best shake is the Frosty! Between that and the franchise's obsession with bacon (the Baconator, junior bacon cheeseburger, gouda bacon cheeseburger, etc.) how can you go wrong? Wendy's doesn't always get the love it deserves next to its competitors Burger King and McDonald's, but it should! Wendy's is the best fast food burger place out there!

4. Starbucks.

Better then Dunkin' Donuts, better coffee, better specialty drinks. And while all of the Dunkin' Donuts fans love to rally behind Starbucks higher prices, a Starbucks medium (grande) is only 20 cents more than its Dunkin' Donuts counterpart. If you are willing to exchange 20 cents for a legitimately good cup of coffee, Starbucks is the way to go.

3. Krispy Kreme.

The best donuts you will ever eat. Seriously the glaze melts in your mouth and they always taste fresh. It may be the only place in the universe where people willingly order the plain glazed donuts because it's just that good! I've often found myself finishing off a half dozen on my own.

2. Taco Bell.

I have done more late night runs to Taco Bell then anywhere else. From an awesome assortment of frozen drinks to a huge assortment of "Mexican" food! And you get a ton of food for your money. Taco Bell also has a constantly evolving menu so there is almost always something new to try while keeping crowd favorites for those who like to play it safe. A small side tip, get the mini-cinnabons, they are like donut holes on steroids.

1. Chick-fil-A.

Regardless of what you think of Chick-fil-A's points of view on certain social issues, it has the best food of any fast food place out there: actual chicken that doesn't look like it was bought frozen and the best-frozen lemonade. Plus Chick-fil-A has waffle fries that will make you rethink fast food French fries. There's quality food, a funny "save the cows" gimmick, and a more family-oriented feel than any other fast-food place. Plus they deliver the food to your table if you go inside; talk about good service!

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
