The Definitive Ranking Of The 20 Best Chick Flicks

20. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

It's a story about longtime friends coming together through the craziness of high school and college and sharing a really great pair of jeans. There's absolutely nothing not to like.

19. Miss Congeniality

A kick-ass female lead, who inspires us to both wear combat boots and dresses. It's laugh-out-loud funny (not to mention empowering).

18. No Strings Attached

"No Strings Attached" is the perfect balance of romantic, funny and passionate, and Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher are absolutely flawless.

17. Friends with Benefits

Just like "No Strings Attached," FWB stars two insanely good-looking and dynamic leads (Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake) and follows the ideal friends with benefits turned perfect relationship storyline.

16. 10 Things I Hate About You

I'm all for strong female leads, but for my ladies' nights, I'm always down for a handsome man charming the ever-aloof, and slightly unapproachable, female into the perfect happy ending.

15. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Day

Needless to say, she doesn't lose the guy in 10 days. I'm a sucker for a backfiring plan (and Matthew McConaughey).

14. When Harry Met Sally

It's a classic love story, and the diner scene is an unforgettable one. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you know what you're watching for your next chick flick night!

13. 13 Going on 30

For remembering our awkward teenage years, and for hoping that we'll be as flawless as Jennifer Garner when we're thirty.

12. He's Just Not That Into You

This is the perfect movie for when you're sitting around with your girlfriends, wondering why guys are so confusing and why relationships are so complicated, or when you need a little more Jennifer Aniston in your life.

11. 500 Days of Summer

This is a shout-out to all the alternative girls out there (and my best friend). If you're into the nerdy-yet-romantic (and did I mention smokin' hot?) boys, this movie is the one for you. Also, the soundtrack is #flawless.

10. 50 First Dates

There's nothing more romantic than a guy changing his ways to woo the perfect girl, and there's no setting more romantic than Hawaii. It's a fact.

9. Crazy, Stupid Love

This movie makes me laugh every time I watch it, and while I totally feel for poor Cal, Ryan Gosling can teach me how to date anytime he wants... amirite?

8. Dirty Dancing

It'd be a sin to not include "Dirty Dancing." The musical numbers are fantastic, the love between Baby and Johnny is a classic summer romance, and Patrick Swayze is perfect.

7. The Devil Wears Prada

Anne Hathaway's character, Andy, is my role model: she lives and works in New York, she's determined and a hard-working, and she befriends Meryl Streep.

6. Legally Blonde

Another movie with a flawlessly gorgeous and smart female lead, Reese Witherspoon proves that you can be both hot and successful (but we knew that already).

5. She's The Man

Amanda Bynes is the perfect combination of romance, sass and sportiness. She's the only person who could make me long to attend a boarding school and dress up as a boy ...

4. Bridesmaids

This movie is a silly, feel-good movie about love and friendship, and it never fails to make me laugh. Between Kristin Wiig and Melissa McCarthy (who are funny separately, but absolutely hilarious together), you can never go wrong with this one.

3. The Notebook

This is one of those classic, chick flick movies that we've all seen a million times, but can't get enough of. Whether it's the romantic gestures, witty one-linersor seeing Ryan Gosling in the rain, this movie is essential for any girls' night.

2. 27 Dresses

Never have I wanted to be a bridesmaid 27 times after seeing this movie. Katherine Heigl tells it like it is, and James Marsden is well worth the wait.

1. Mean Girls

Nobody should be surprised this tops the list. Everyone can pick out a "Mean Girls" quote, and everyone knows what it's like to feel like Queen Bee, but also feel like the new girl who just moved from Africa. It's silly, fun, and the actors and actresses turn a teenage movie into a chick-flick masterpiece.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
