Fall is the transition from summer to winter; the in-between of two wonderful seasons. Fall is the best season, in my opinion. The humidity and heat start to go away, and we welcome the chilly and crisp weather. So, why not post about all the fun Fall things you did this season? I mean, of course, it's the same apple orchard, same pumpkin patch, same spooky movies, but it's different memories each time. Those moments deserve to be posted about; they deserve to be shared.

Here are 10 Fall things that you are likely to Instagram this fall:

1. Apple picking

I absolutely love going to apple orchards. Doing this allows you to be outside all day, enjoying the beautiful fall weather. It is at apple orchards that you find the best apple cider and the best in-season apples. Also, don't forget the homemade caramel for those apples.

2. Going to the pumpkin patch

Another one of my favorite things to do in the Fall: pumpkin patches. From hayrack rides to pumpkin picking, to pig races, to corn mazes, and on and on and on... pumpkin patches are just so fun. I love getting to dress all warm and spend the day doing Fall things. (I also love dragging my boyfriend with me because he always gets the biggest pumpkin, and that makes for a great Instagram post.)

3. Watching spooky movies

Who doesn't love a little scare? There is a little drive-in movie theater that my boyfriend and I went to last year, and we got to park his truck and watch a spooky movie on a big screen from the bed of his truck. It was so fun to be outside in the forest watching a scary movie. Tis the season for getting spooked.

4. Bonfires

Bonfires with friends is a must. If you're anything like my friends, you like to see how big you can get the fire to be. After the fire settles down, you can talk, eat smores, and (if you're of age) drink a little. Bonfires give you time to sit back, get cozy, and enjoy the company of your friends.

5. Drinking and eating Fall foods

The amount of apple cider I drink during the Fall is unreal. It's just so tasty. Everything is now pumpkin spice flavor, which is actually super annoying, but beyond that, there are tons of Fall foods to enjoy. Thanksgiving is also during the Fall, and that holiday has some of the best food all year. Along with that, there are so many Fall recipes for pies, cookies, and so much more. Enjoy it while it's here.

6. Pumpkin carving

Who doesn't love making jack-o-lanterns? After you pick the perfect pumpkin and enjoy it for a while, it's finally time to get dirty, take out the guts, and carve something amazing... or just a face because that's all the artistic ability you have... *cough* *cough* ...me.

7. Wearing cozy sweaters, sweatshirts, and hoodies

Fall is a great excuse to buy more sweaters and cozy clothes. I think I've lost count of all my sweaters, sweatshirts, and hoodies. I just love getting to be warm and comfortable and cute all at the same time. So, take another sweater selfie while you're at it, right?

8. Snuggling under blankets

Usually, I want to be outside during the Fall. I like all the Fall activities that go on outside. However, when it's chillier, it's nice to cuddle up under some blankets and binge watch Netflix. Being inside and looking out the window at all of the changing colors on the leaves of the trees is so calming and pure. It's even better when you have a significant other to cuddle up with, and then you can binge watch movies.

9. Visiting haunted houses

Along with spooky movies, it's fun to get scared in real life. I actually like the adrenaline rush you get inside of a haunted house, and the freeing feeling you get once you're out. Some people hate them... I anticipate them.

10. Halloween

One of the more fun holidays out there. You have an excuse to dress crazy or to dress up as the person you have always wanted to be. For me, that's Bubbles the Power Puff Girl. Finding and creating your perfect costume pays off when everyone gets to see it at the next best Halloween party.

I don't think I could write an article like this about any other season. That just goes to show how much I love fall. It's my birthday, it's Thanksgiving, it's Halloween... it's everything wonderful, really. So enjoy fall while it is here. Take all the pictures you can, Instagram all the pictures you want, and most importantly make the best memories to last you until next fall.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
