Not only is the joy of binge-watching Christmas movies back, but I, too, am determined to see which holiday classic is the best of the best. After picking from an assortment of the most popular movies, the final line up came down to 14 holiday films. Throughout the week, I will be running Twitter polls to let my followers vote and decide which movies will come out on top. Be sure to follow me at @mar_ryz to tune in and vote for all of your favorites! Check out the first round of the tournament!
1. The Polar Express v. Disney's A Christmas Carol
Who will win the battle of holiday classics later brought to the big screen: the boy who needed a little push to believe, or the man who spent the night with ghosts while watching his Christmas' past, present, and future?
2. Christmas Vacation v. A Christmas Story
Whose crazy family Christmas goes down as the best: Clark Griswold or Ralphie?
3. Home Alone v. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
We all loved Kevin being stuck at home, but what about when he takes on the big city?
4. The Ultimate Christmas Present v. Jack Frost
Who had more power with the weather in these two Disney classics: when Allie stole Santa's weather machine or when Jack Frost came back to life as a snowman?
5. The Santa Claus v. The Santa Claus 2
We all love Tim Allen as Santa, but was he better when he first put on the coat or when he searched for a Mrs. Claus?
6. Elf v. How The Grinch Stole Christmas
The battle of everyone's favorite comedians as some of their best characters: Will Ferrell as "Buddy the Elf" or Jim Carrey as "the Grinch?"
7. Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer v. Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas
These two cartoon classics always have a special place in everyone's heart, but who ended up saving Christmas more: Rudolph or the Grinch?
8. White Christmas v. It's A Wonderful Life!
Finally, the old time classics and probably the hardest decision: Bing Crosby retiring from the army and going into show business, or James Stewart receiving a life changing reality check from his guardian angel?
