Dear sister,

I can't believe its your senior year. I remember being a senior your freshman year, we finally got to march together in band. We got a long great when we were both younger, but growing up it made us butt heads a few times, but that year we were in high school with was one of my favorite memories we've shared.

You never cease to amaze me, you are so smart and such a beautiful young lady. I've had the pleasure of watching you grow and I've seen first had that you've had such a strong head on your shoulders ever since I could remember. I loved that you basically took after me and followed in my foot steps in a few areas (band and student council).

You always, always help mom out, whether its with work, or just random chores around the house.

You've always kept, to yourself no matter what. You don't care about what people say about you. You always help others. You're a lot like me, you sometimes can't say no. I understand its hard, but we've have to once and awhile. This is a lesson I'm still learning to this day.

I just remember you starting your senior year, me driving you to school everyday. Its just so hard to believe that ever since I've graduated it's your time to graduate. You already have your mind set on what you want to do, which is awesome! Because I still second guess myself and doubt myself all the time on my future plans. But you already have your mind made up which is awesome.

I love our relationship, it's definitely grown ever since we shared that one year in high school together. We can come to each other whenever we need when something we are always there for each other, and I'm forever grateful.

I love your personality, I love how strong you are, and you how you aren't afraid to speak your mind. School related, or even work related. You give your honest opinion all the time.

Just remember, cherish those moments this year. Senior flies by, during that last concert, during that last marching performance remember the good and even look back at what you can do to fix the back times to make you grow stronger.

As I look through your senior pictures, I see a beautiful smart woman of God, that stands for what she believes in and isn't afraid to fight for it. I also see a strong independent woman that can overcome mountains.

Sister, I'm super proud of you. Even though, I'm not at home, I'm still just a phone call and a text away.

I'm so blessed to have you as my sister. I love you and I'm always going to be here for you. Remember to keep the faith and keep pushing through your senior year and cherish every moment possible.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
