Dear Sun, you are the Brightest Star

To the lovely Sun,

My universe revolves around you.

People gaze to me in awe,

when you are the real wonder.

You are the brightest, most beautiful star in the sky,

And most of all the light of my life.

When your elegance shines through me,

I do not feel hollow anymore

I can show light.

You make me beautiful and grant me the

Privilege of being in sight.

I don’t hide in the Earth’s sky,

You make people see me and I am no longer invisible.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses are my favorite moments,

Because just a few hours with you, are a lifetime for me.

And I don't know if I'm crazy or in love

but I know this, the universe is complete with you.

My World is complete with you.

And at the end of the day words are just words

and I love you is just another senseless statement.

My actions will tell you I love you, but my heart will always

scream louder than both.

So, I hope you wait for my actions Sun,

Because I will see you again

I will circle around the Earth for as long as I have to

Just so I can have more chances of getting a glimpse of you,

Over and over again.

I grant you my love and admiration,

The Moon

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
