Dear Summer,
Thanks for all the memories, all the late nights, all the friendships made, and for the time to get back to myself. Sometimes I think God created the you just to give us that deep breath we need. After a long day its nice to come home and the sun still be lit high in the sky at 8 p.m. and be able to sit on my porch and watch as another day fades away. Thank you for giving me those few extra daylight hours. Thank you for the friendships made. Summer gives us a little more free time to and the warm weather calls for more activities to do with our friends. But most of all thank you sweet sweet summertime for giving me a little extra time to get back to myself.
1. Extra Daylight
The extra daylight you give me allows me for more time with my family and friends. The family get-togethers last longer, the talks deeper and the days become more meaningful when you have a little extra sunshine. Cookouts can last longer, conversations go later into the night and most of all, kids have more playtime. That is certainly one of my favorite childhood memories.
2. Memories
Memories are my favorite part of you. Thank you for the memories with my family on the lake, the days spent rocking on the front porch watching the sun go down, the nights spent with my lover and with my friends. Memories are what I hold tightest to.
3. Friendships
The friendships made during summer are the part of summer that lasts throughout the year. Thanks for your lasting impression.
4. Relaxation
Relaxation of summer time is what most of us look forward to all year round. Relaxing with our loved ones on our yearly trip to the beach and coming back to reality for a while. It is truly the best.
Sincerely,
Your biggest fan
