A Thank You letter To My Sorority
SDT

Just a few weeks ago, one of my fellow Odyssey creators wrote this article on why she loved her sorority. It's time for me to do the same.

Dear Sigma Delta Tau,

I love you so much.

Thank you for accepting me just the way I am and for bringing out the very best in me and all my sisters. Thank you for introducing me to the most amazing women and for giving them all a very special place in my heart. I'm glad you make me question myself sometimes and help me make more educated and independent decisions. Thanks for giving me confidence I did not have before and the will to make everyday better than the last.

I'm so grateful you came into my life when you did and that you gave me this amazing opportunity to create the best possible version of myself with 170-some incredible women right at my side. Thanks for introducing me to my best friends, my future bridesmaids, and my long lost twin--who is exactly like me. The women of SDT are strong, intelligent, beautiful women who set the bar very high and excel at being genuine people, and are very well liked. That is exactly why I love to be around them and am proud to be one of them.

I'm proud to tell my friends and family about you and I stick up for you, SDT, when someone hates on Greek life or sororities. I'm honored to be a part of this organization and to hold myself to the highest of standards for the sake of this sorority. I'm thankful that I have this connection to my campus and I cannot believe the impact that this has made on my life in just a few short weeks.

I am thankful for everything this sorority has to offer me and my sisters, and I cannot wait to see what the next few years have in store for us. Sigma Delta Tau, you have become a part of who I am and I know the memories I make during this experience will last a lifetime. So I thank you for everything you've already done for me and for everything you will do for me in the future. I'm so proud to be a Sig Delt.

Love,

Me

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time.
