Dear T-Shirt Dresses,

I thought it was about time that I sent you a note giving thanks to you for being a staple in my summer wardrobe.

So here it goes:

Thank you for being such an effortless piece. You allow me to bring my 3xl sleep shirt into a daytime fashion statement,

for never judging me for eating the entire bucket of popcorn at the movies and always making room for after-bad-decision bloating.

Thank you for turning the potato sack into a trendy necessity in your wonderful “doesn’t touch my body” nature.

Thank you for allowing the sisterhood of the traveling dress to become a real possibility, as this dress look great on everyone. (Unlike those jeans that look good on basically no one)

Actually, thank you for allowing me a reason to not wear pants at all.

Thank you for coming in many different colors and patterns and allowing me to wear essentially only one type of clothing without people thinking I don’t change my outfit.
