Dear Police Officers

Dear Police officers,

Thank you so much. Everyday you protect us all and put your lives on the line. As a country we truly need you and we thank you for your service. Lately we haven't thanked you because of the brutality that has taken place in this country. There are good and there are bad people. As a police officer you are held to a higher standard because you have sworn to protect us. Some police officers have abused their power, but there are still so many amazing police officers out there.

Police officers that would or have given their lives to protect civilians. Those that have families that fear if their love one will come home. Being a police officer is one of the most stressful jobs for those who serve and their family. Everyday they put on their uniform and put their lives on the line. They don't know if they will be home for dinner that night. They protect us all and we need that protection. As a country we have always needed the police's protection. Sadly, some people don't feel safe around them because of police brutality.

Police brutality is wrong and most police officers know that. You have a split second to decide what to do in a situation most people would never dream of being in. That split second is when you decide who you are as a cop. These days the media portrays police officers as being bad, but they don't look at the good they do as well. I want to thank you for putting that uniform on everyday. I want to thank you for helping protect our country. I also want to say that the brutality must end, but as citizens we can only express our feelings towards police brutality. We need you on the front lines trying to change how police officers are seen. You must help change your imagine. Take that second and choose who you are as a cop. When you see police brutality stop it, be aware of it and grow as a police officer. You are the ones that can stop it and make a change. There are always going to be people on your side. We don't always say it, but I want to say it again, Thank you. Thank you so much for your service.

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
