Dear Pizza,

Hello. I love you. I know, I know, it took me a while to admit it directly to you but you are everything to me. I couldn't possibly live without you. You come in all different shapes and sizes and I don't know which I love more. You come with never-ending possibilities and I never get bored of you. There was that one time where I got sick after eating you and we had to take a break. I am sorry I doubted you, it was silly of me to blame you for that situation. You have never let me down. Honestly Pizza... thank you for being you.

That thin crust is crispy and crunchy and deep dish crust is so incredible too. Hand-tossed crust? don't even get me started. But that's only the start. Everyone loves you, pizza, you just get it. Comfort food has never tasted so good. Whether you are eating Domino's, Home Run Inn frozen pizzas or brick oven pizza, you are constantly cheesy, saucy and delicious. Damn. What a food. Will I get the Red sauce, BBQ sauce, Pesto sauce or Bechamel sauce? Sausage, Pepperoni, Bacon, Prosciutto? Green pepper, Mushrooms, Olives, Spinach? Mozzarella, Goat, Parm, Romano, Ricotta? Sooooooo many possibilities holy moly.

Pizza thank you for making me happy no matter the situation. You always have the type of pizza I want in the moment. I couldn't imagine eating anything else at 2 am or having anything else for dinner on Sunday's at home or birthday parties as a kid. You have been with me through it all.

For those of you that don't love pizza like I do. First of all, that's rude. Second of all, You have no soul. Third of all, you need to get medically checked out because if you have gone your life without the magic of pizza then you have lived a very messed up life. Yes... Maybe you could say I am a bit obsessed. But I have many people behind me on this. Pizza is amazing and should be given praise. Cold pizza in the morning? Ever tried it? I highly recommend it. One day I ate pizza for every meal.... no shame. Actually pretty proud of this fact. That was a damn good day.

Anyways, I think you get the gist but basically, I have a strong and deep love for pizza. Pizza, you have made my life 1000% better. Thank you for all you do and for being tasty as all hell.

xoxo,

You're biggest fan

P.S. Anyone wanna order some pizza with me? Oh shit. Wait. New idea. Let's get those frozen Lou Malnati's pizzas. Best idea I have ever had, hand's down. Calling them right now.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
