Dear Mr. President,

We've never met.

But if we had I'd tell you this:

The past eight years have been bliss

Not perfect, by far,

But it has been constant.

You've achieved change

In just the small things:

health care, military, employment.

You've given the American people a reason to believe

That our government could be better.

No matter our future

You've made history.

What you are known for?

Integrity

What you've taught me?

Determination

What I now know?

Someone who looks like me

Could even run the country.

Before you leave

Know that you and your family

Have been the epitome of grace and poise

An example for generations to come.

And I can say with honesty that I am proud

you have been in the presidency.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
