Dear Louis Tomlinson And Your Family,

My heart goes out to you all.

Dear Louis Tomlinson And Your Family,

As a long time One Direction fan the news about Johannah Deakin (Louis' Mom) passing away was absolutely heart breaking. In recent months she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia and has been undergoing harsh treatment. She was always the sweetest towards fans in person and over twitter. She was the mother to seven lovely kids, the youngest are two-year-old twins, which makes the situation even more heartbreaking. Johnannah was also so cheerful and joyous and spread nothing up happiness. She was extremely supportive of all her kids, such as Louis' crazy life with One Direction and Lottie's makeup career. She recently wed Daniel Deakin in 2014 and had Ernest and Doris that same year as well.

I cannot even imagine what the Tomlinsons are going through right now, and my heart goes out to them all. The loss of a parent is such a travesty and they have all the right to mourn. Since Louis is a high-profile celebrity privacy is not something he gets often, but during this time he deserves all the privacy he can get to be with his family and share their love for the amazing Johannah.

Just days after Johannah's passing Louis made an emotional performance on the X-factor debuting his new single with Steve Aoki called "Just Hold On". The lyrics were particularly poignant to the loss of Johannah and Louis ended his performance by sending a kiss up to the sky. Simon Cowell got choked up as well praising Louis for his bravery and how proud is mom is of him.

Ultimately, this death has created stronger bonds between fans and families. Johannah was so young and an incredible mother who was taken too soon. Her radiant smile will never be forgotten. My thoughts go out to the Tomlinson's and the Deakin's during this rough time. I know that Johnanah will always be looking down on her wonderful children and be nothing but proud of them all.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
