Hillary Clinton has publicly declared that she views an unborn baby as having no constitutional rights.
LifeNews reports: "While campaigning in Indiana over the weekend, pro-abortion Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made it clear she has no love for the new pro-life law in Indiana that protects unborn babies who have Down syndrome," (http://www.lifenews.com/2016/05/02/hillary-clinton...)
As an older sister of a sister with Down Syndrome, I have a lot to say about this matter. So here goes.
Dear Hillary,
I'm sorry you are missing out on the wonderful adventure it is having a loved one with Down Syndrome in this world. My sister is the most beautiful person I have in my life inside and out. She is the happiest, bubbliest human being I've seen and her personality is the kind the world longs to see in a person.
But if I lived under your standards, my blue eyed beauty wouldn't exist. I would not ever have the opportunity to hear her joyful giggle, to watch her as she grows- all because she is different from you.
Do you think that she is not as much of a person as you? That the thing that makes her unique is the very thing that downgrades her quality of humanity? What happened to "all men created equal?"
Creation begins at conception, because the very pieces that will become your being are created at conception. If all men are created equal, what decides that one may have the power to take another's life? Unborn babies are humans. Individuals with Down Syndrome are humans. They are all humans who deserve life.
I am so glad that the world does not all think like you; because if they did, it would be a terrible, murderous place. We would be murdering brothers, sisters, scientists, thinkers, and people who have so much to give the world before they ever had the chance to make their mark.
How dare you, How could you take innocent lives? It's not abortion. It's murder. And it's wrong, especially with kids like my sister.
