Hello high school me,

Let me say something. You've changed a lot since you graduated in 2015. You're pushing your way through college and making a name for yourself. You're getting through all of your courses and becoming independent.

I never would have thought that you would make it this far. Being the first one to go to college and 6 hours away for that matter.

In high school, you were a quiet, kind, and invisible girl. In college, you're making yourself known. Between working on getting an internship and work, you're building a pathway to success for yourself.

Who would've thought that this shy-ish girl from New Jersey would be in college in New York?

You've graduated high school and you are halfway done college. Time is flying by!

You have a voice of your own. You stand up for yourself. You don't allow people to walk all over you anymore. You're becoming a successful person. This change has definitely been for the better.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
