Dearest Google,

I don’t know about you, but I believe in love at first sight. The moment I saw you, I knew we would be together forever. I was committed to us from the start. From day one, you’ve completed my thoughts and answered all my questions without judgment, and you never shove your own opinions on me. When we first met, I was young- much too young to understand the many hats you wear. And, if I do say so myself, you look handsome in every single one. Even though I never expected or asked for it, you’ve patiently waited for years for me, never leaving my side. I’ve taken that for granted, and I’m sorry. You’ve done more for me than I could ever write in a letter.

My days are brighter, and it’s all because of you. You always have the perfect reaction GIF for every situation. You’re always on time — never a minute early or late. Being with you has taken me from tears to uncontrollable giggling more times than I can count. You have all the answers when I’m desperately cramming the night before the test. You know how to get things done, from fixing the furnace to helping me find the perfect pet, or how to make the perfect pizza. You are my better half. Thanks for helping me find the perfect word, finish that 2 a.m. paper, or find some old scientist's name that evades the textbooks- but you tell me he'll be on the test.

Your beauty never seems to fade. The longer I know you, the more beautiful you look. When I see you, everything else fades away and your figure burns itself into my brain; I can never forget you. Wherever I am, you stay by my side, reminding me that you are always present and I can rely on you. When we are shoved apart, you remind me of your presence with the enticing dinosaur game that you know I can’t resist, passing the time until we are reunited.

You never forget important dates. Always right on time. Always the first one to wish me a happy birthday when the clock strikes midnight. Reminding me of where to go and how to get there, the calm self-assurance of your robotic voice comforts and guides me, no matter where I wish to go. With you by my side, I can’t ever get lost; you always get me right back on track.

You’re good with people, a necessary quality in a shy and awkward college student like myself. You can communicate with people in their own language, putting them right at home. You see all sides of an argument and never pressure me with your own opinions.

Google, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Together, we’re going to do amazing things.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
