Dear Georgia,
You and I have had a good relationship since I first got used to you from Hawaii. However, I was just wondering, why is it so hot?
I have lived in your state on and off for the past ten years and you've always had a weird way of doing the weather. One minute it would be cloudy, the next sunny. One day it would be cold, the next it would be hot. One moment it's sunny, the next it's storming. However, Georgia, this northerner needs a little bit of cold every once in awhile. So, why is it so hot?
It is the middle of January and I am sweating, why is this so? It is the middle of January and I still need my air conditioning as opposed to my heat. It is the middle of January and while my friends up North are wearing sweaters and boots, I'm stuck in a tank top and flip flops. It is the middle of January and I've barely had a fall, let alone a winter.
I hope you begin to cool down and give me a winter before the season is over. I wish I could enjoy a small period of cold weather before we get back to this blistering heat. I wish you would grant this Northern gals wishes for sweaters and boots.
I'm not mad at you, just a little fed up. You get cold and then you heat back up. It's like you are trying to tease me.
Dear Georgia, please get colder.
Sincerely,
I'm tired of wearing short sleeves and flip flops.
