I will forgive you.

I will forgive you but you've pierced me with something so sharp all of my nerves have frayed.

I will not be broken,

I will not become a victim.

I will care for my wounds the way you never did.

I will bandage them without an ounce of selfishness.

I was never weak, I was only human and still am.

I have always been strong.

I strive to be something you never will be, me.

I will have difficult days, days where I can't see through the fog of past fears

But I will never give up hope, never.

When I close my eyes I see an abundance of light radiating through my soul.

That light has been dimmed at times but it will never be put out.

Money won't make up for the mess that you've made but I forgive you.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
