Dear Future Husband, This Is Who I am

Whether it be soon, or years down the road, I cannot wait to find out who you are.

Dear Future Husband, This Is Who I am

Dear Future Husband,

I often wonder who you will be. This is something I have wondered since I was a young, naive, teenage girl. Do I know you already, or will you be someone I will meet down the road? Will you be just like me, or will we be complete opposites? These are questions I cannot answer quite yet. However, when you do come around, I think that there's a few things you should know...

1. I act like I don't care about romance, but in reality I'm a hopeless romantic.

I will act like the idea of romance disgusts me. However, in reality, I will want to see every cheesy love movie, read every Nicholas Sparks book, and I secretly want to go on romantic dates.

2. Sometimes I need to be by myself.

No, I'm not upset. Sometimes I just want to sit by myself and read a good book or watch Netflix. I enjoy quality time with myself occasionally.

3. I am a complete and total dork.

I will make weird voices, say random things to make you laugh, and dance quite horribly. I hope that you will know how to act weird with me, even if it's only occasionally.

4. Sarcasm is my second language so please don't be offended by it.

I will most likely constantly be sarcastic with you. I hope that you understand my humor and know how to be sarcastic right back.

5. Sometimes I just need a shoulder to cry on.

Whether I'm stressed out, upset, or just in one of those moods, I will need you to be there for me.

6. There is no one I adore more than my parents.

They have been there for me through everything. For you to have a good relationship with my parents would mean a lot to me. They are the kindest people you will ever meet.

7. I'm sorry, but I can't cook.

No matter how hard I try, nothing ever seems to come out right. It's either burnt or undercooked. I will try to cook though. Even if it's only Kraft mac and cheese

8. One of my main goals in life is to travel.

I want to travel everywhere. I want to go to different states and countries. I hope that you will travel with me and enjoy it as much as I do.

9. I am absolutely obsessed with Disney and I hope that you will accept this obsession.

I love all the movies and Disney World is my favorite place on earth. If I could go to Disney every year, I would. I also really want to go on a Disney Cruise and go to Disney Land at some point in my life.

10. I really love animals.

I will most likely spend a great deal of time looking up animals to adopt or I will just bring one home. I hope that you love animals as much as I do, but also know how to stop me from bringing them all home.

11. I cannot wait to find out who you are.

Whether it be soon, or years down the road, I cannot wait to find out who you are. I cannot wait to be your wife one day.

Love Always,

Your Future Wife

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
