Dear Future Employers,

My graduation date is approaching very quickly, so it’s time to apply for jobs. Here are 28 reasons you should consider me for this position:

1. If I Was An Employer, I’d Hire Me

I’m proud of who I am, and if you choose me, you would be proud of me too!

2. My Resume And Cover Letter Are Literally Only An Email Away

Imagine your company at the top of my resume. That sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?

3. Give A Recent College Grad A Chance

While I may not have three years of PR experience, I’m more than happy to learn!

4. I’m Honest

These are all my real skills. I promise.

5. I Don’t Know Everything, But I Will Figure It Out

I’m not afraid to admit that Google is my best friend (and look at me being honest about not knowing everything).

6. I’m Punctual

I’ve never been late for class. Even if I stood in the incredibly long line at Starbucks beforehand.

7. I Like Office Supplies

Need sticky notes? I already have 27 different color options.

8. I’ve Had Experience

Internships are EVERYTHING. And I have plenty of internship experience.

9. I Know The Difference Between Your and You’re

Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
