Dear future boyfriend, this is what you need to know.

I'll try to keep it simple.

Though this is something I wrote a few years ago, it still holds excessively true. I may not be in a relationship, but if/when I ever do get in one, if you are serious about me, these are the main things you need to know and understand.

•I'm moody. I get mad for no reason. There will be days that I want absolutely nothing to do with you for no reason at all. And there will be days when you're the only person I want to talk to.

•I'm depressed. I may not always show it. But I am. Lately, most of my days have been good. But there are still days that I hate my life. That I think I'm worthless and fat and that everyone hates me. There's no rhyme or reason, it just happens. And I can't help it. telling me to be positive doesn't help, it makes it worse, like its my fault.

•I'm insecure. I don't like my body and sometimes I don't like myself. I'm trying to get over it but it's not easy.

•I constantly need reassurance. You can tell me you love me a thousand times and I'll still question it. It's not you, I believe you, I really do. But I will always question if someone can really love me as much as they say they do. If I ask, it's not to scare you. I genuinely just need you to tell me again. So I know.

•my best friends are protective of me. If they question anything they'll freak. I'm sorry. I try to stop it but it doesn't always work. Again I'm sorry. But they come with me.

•If I tell you I love you, I mean it. There is not a soul out there that I love more than you. I'm not saying it to anyone else. If I'm with you, it's because I want to be with you. Not anyone else. Even if I hang out with other guys, trust me they know im with you. I talk about you a lot. Because you make me happy.

•I might be depressed but you make me happy. No. You are NOT my happiness. You never will be. You make me happy. There is a difference. Never let someone be your happiness. That's when you lose yourself. So yes, I can live without you. But no, I do not want to. Believe that.

•I want to show you off. I'm proud of you, and I'm proud to be with you. Nothing makes me happier than saying you're mine. I don't care who knows. I'd shout it from the mountains, from the roof. I'd tell anyone.

•I'll make sacrifices for you, and I'll do things you like. But I hope that you'll do the same. Band is my life, pretend to keep up. If you like video games or movies I'll try to learn to make you happy.

•you're happiness makes me happy. When you're happy, I'm happy. If you're upset, I'll try to cheer you up.

•I will piss you off. Sometimes I might do it on purpose trying to be funny. Sometimes I'll be annoying as hell. Sometimes you'll just be in a bad mood. But I will piss you off.

•I'm stubborn. Good luck winning an argument. Because most of the time I won't be the first to apologize. It won't be unheard of. But most likely rare. I'm sorry.

•I can be clingy. I will text you several times. Not to annoy you(sometimes yes), but because I worry or im bored, or just because I want you to know I'm thinking of you.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
