Doing adult things or "adulting" is my biggest struggle right now. Being a freshman, you have the luxury of being able to fluctuate between being a real adult and not. But with the year coming to a close, it's time to start being more of an adult. So here's a list of baby steps you can take to be more of an adult.
1. Make Your own Doctor(s) Appointments
Time to face the music, children: You're in college now. It's time to put on your pair of grownup undies and make your own doctor's appointments. Or appointments in general, but you know, baby steps.
2. Learn how to Save Your Money
Remember that savings account you started before college? Yup, let's give a little life back into that sucker and stop binge-shopping on makeup, food, and um, various other things.
3. Regulate Your Sleep Schedule
Fun fact: Surviving on four hours of sleep on a daily basis is probably not the best idea in the world.
4. Making Your own Decisions
The biggest part of adulting is making your own decisions. You can't rely on your parents to make every little thing in your life happen. Think for yourself, and do what you want to do.
