Dear DNC,

I never liked politics. I thought polititions were all just selfish liars who lied and cheated and bought their way to the top. They didn't care who they hurt. They didn't care about the people. They only cared about money and themselves. However convieniently, when I was old enough to vote, a miracle happened. An honest old man stood up and fought for us. He listened to us. He knew what we wanted and he promised to give it. He never lied, he never cheated he never cared about fame or fortune. He knew it was not about him, but about US. This man was Bernie Sanders.

He brought millions together to stand up and demand chage.. He promised free health care. He promised free public college, he understood the turmoil hard working familes face when they make a "starvation wage". But the most important thing of all was that he listened to us.

DNC, let me let you in on a little secert, Bernie WON this nomination. You know it, I know it and so do the millions of others who voted for him.

From the beginning you have tried tirelessly to snuff us out. Election fraud, media blackouts, voter suppression and most importantly, leaked emails proving that you have wanted Hillary from the start.

You stole this election. You rigged this election and we are DONE.

But you know what? Even though Bernie didn't win, he lit a match. He ignited the flame that has grown into a wildfire. He has united millions to stand up against the establishment and you know what? that's exactly what we are doing and will contiue to do.

He may not be President in Novemeber, but I will tell you one thing, we will not stop. We will not be silenced. We will end the corruption. We are running for office. We are standing up and fighting to get rid of super delegates. We are working tirelessly to end Citizens United. No matter what you do, you cannot silenece us. We will keep fighting back, we will keep coming for you, no matter how many times you try to shoot us down.

You may have your precious Hillary, but we have a voice now more than ever and we will not be silenced.

Now that you have guranteed disaster, I want you to know that you will lie in the bed you made. We will not vote for Hillary. It's over. You have ruined and tarnished the Democratic Party and Trump will probably win in Novevemer.

But do you know who's fault that is? Yours. We had a wonderful, honest canidate who always polled above Trump but you threw him in the trash. Now you are the ones who need to clean up the mess.

We will not bail you out. It's over DNC.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
