Dear Christian Guys,

Before we get started, I just wanted to say Hey, it’s your sister in Christ. I am writing to tell you that I support you guys. I know it cannot be easy to stand up for what you believe or even show the love of Christ to everyone you come in contact with. But I promise there is huge group of Christian sisters fighting with you!

I know you may think that there are no "Godly" girls out there that are right for you… But I am here to tell you that you’re wrong. We are not as outspoken and sometimes we fall in the background, because we do not catch your attention like some of the others.

Us Godly girls are waiting for you to lead us like God has called you to. So we will not make the first move. We may not even make it obvious that we are crushing hard on you. We will, in most cases, sit quietly and pray to God that you feel the same.

Those girls that know who they are in Christ, will not push you. We hold ourselves accountable and we want the same things as you. We want the healthy, religious relationship and we know our worth. We believe that God has the right person for us and maybe you’re him, but we trust God.

We want you to always push us toward our purpose. We want you to always direct us back to the one who loves us the most. We want you to be more in love with God than with us. We want to value each other’s time, space, and even love. We want to build with each other. We want to go in faith with each other. We want to serve God TOGETHER.

The best thing you can do, gentlemen, is build a friendship with us first and foremost. For example, let’s learn what each other likes and dislikes. Let’s go on crazy adventures. Let’s learn what makes it each other happy, sad, and even mad.

Guys, be yourself. Someone will come along and they will be perfect for you! And only YOU! I know sometimes it seems that things will never get better, but I promise it does. Your future will fall right into place with the right girl.

Treasure her. Treasure your future wife today. Pray for her. God is with your girl right now. Think intently about what you want for your lives. Pray about it now and believe God will take you there. God knows and He is writing your love story. Regardless, she needs your prayers and I bet she is praying for you right this second. She might be praying that there is someone out there who loves her and is praying for her too.

So when it comes down to it, we are praying with you just as much you are. We know it is hard and we are fighting for you! This is not the end for either one of us! We are thankful for you! Wear your FAITH BOLDLY! Watch God send the right people in your life!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
