Every October it can be expected that sports teams, celebrities and even the cashier at your local bodega will be sporting some type of pink clothing item, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. How about the month just comes just before? What many people in America do not realize is that September is Childhood Cancer awareness month. While no form of cancer is ever "favored," I think we can all agree that Breast Cancer is the one which typically receives the most attention. So this month, I've decided to give a little attention to the children in America and around the world who are battling cancer as I type. This letter is for you, little Angels.

Dear Child of God,

You are so cherished. This pain which you are fighting is no match for the strength you hold in your heart. You are not the disease which is currently taking advantage of the body you were placed on this Earth in. You are stronger than any medication the men in white coats could possibly administer. You are more beautiful than any song the women in gold scrubs could possibility sing to you. You are smarter than any cold, lifeless, beeping machine. You are brighter than any marble hospital floor.

You are the future on which this world will rest. You are The Lawyer, The Chef, The Entrepreneur, The Construction worker, The Model, The Photographer, The Teacher, The Scientist. Right now your future is uncertain, but I can tell you one thing that isn't. The love your family and friends have for you is that like no other. You are the music in their soul which keeps their feet moving to an ever constant tempo, only slowing down to make sure that your growing feet can catch up. Your laughter is the honey which soothes our sore souls. Your finger tips hold the fire which keeps our hearts warm at night.

I say this to you now and every day for the rest of your life. You are a warrior, a knight, the noble boys and girls of each and every land you come from. You are not and will never be forgotten. We as a human race, hold you close to us wherever we may go. I vow, to never stop loving and to never stop searching for a solution, a prevention, a cure, if only for you. The cure is out there and it will be found. Until that day, to you I say: live long and live well. From one survivor to another, the tunnel may seem long but light on the other end is that of an eternally burning, golden star.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
