The Washington Wizards have been one of my favorite NBA teams for the past couple of years. However, in past years, the Wizards have not been the best team in the league. The Wizards usually have low points during the season where they go on loosing streaks and usually have low success rates in the playoffs. However, this year shows the Wizards in a new light. The Wizards home game winning streak has proven that they are a team to be afraid of playing at home. In addition, the Wizards have been great away so far. They have pulled off upsets such as tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.

However, pulling off wins in the playoffs is much more difficult and more respected. While the Wizards didn't make the playoffs last year, they have had a small amount of success winning playoff games. During the 2015 playoffs, the Wizards won their first round games 4-0 when they swept the Toronto Raptors. However, they faced a roadblock as their next opponent won the series 4-2.

This year I believe the Wizards have a chance to win more playoff games. They are playing better than they have in a long time. They have a solid home court advantage and they have great players with playoff experience. The Wizards have had a difficult time in the playoffs in the past, but this year will be different as they will hopefully make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. This would bring the franchise to a new level and impress fans tremendously. The Wizards need to finish the season off strong and continues on into the playoffs with a team that is playing well.
