Getting through the week can be a tough job for even the most prepared and positive among us. Bearing this fact in mind, it is important to come up with plenty of options and ways to help yourself get through any kind of week. There is, however, one foolproof method to help yourself that always works: ice cream. Below, a flavor for every day of the week no matter what kind of day you're having or mood you're in.

Sunday: Everything but the...

As the end of the weekend sadly creeps by, you realize it's time to catch up on everything you've been neglecting before Monday comes around. Basically, that means you're going to be busy for a while tonight. Help take the edge off of everything you need to do with a flavor that also contains everything-but in a good way.

Monday: Coffee Coffee buzzbuzzbuzz

Nobody looks forward to Mondays. You're still tired after a long weekend and as soon as you wake up in the morning, you're probably already counting down until Friday. One thing though, that will help you get through this day is clear: coffee. Get your coffee fix with this buzzed up flavor and forget all about the Monday blues.

Tuesday: Mint Chocolate Cookie

As the week goes by and Friday seems impossibly far away, you might need some help to keep from feeling too overwhelmed. Enjoy this mint chocolate cookie flavor as it helps to both refresh and rejuvenate you with its cool mint taste. One bite of this flavor and you'll be feeling cool, calm, and collected and ready to handle anything that comes your way.

Wednesday: Banana Split

It's hump day! This means that the week is exactly half over so what better way to celebrate than a flavor that literally has the word "split" in its title? As you enjoy this nice split in the week, take the time to enjoy this delicious mix of banana and strawberry ice creams and all of the fudge chunks and swirls that come along with it.

Thursday: Chocolate Therapy

By Thursday the week might seem to be taking longer to go by than it should. Sure, there are positives to Thursdays, and maybe you're even trying to start the weekend early, but that doesn't change the fact that you still might have a big exam on Friday or a presentation you need to do. Make sure you forget about all of those kinds of problems by digging into this comforting flavor. Plus, chocolate therapy is definitely the cheapest form of therapy you can get!

Friday: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Finally, we've gotten to everyone's favorite day of the week. As you get a break from all the responsibilities of the week, it's your time to treat yo' self. Take a bite (or two or three) out of everyone's favorite flavor on everyone's favorite day to make the most out of this good old classic. You can't go wrong here.

Saturday: Half Baked

Who knows what you did last night. Maybe you can't even remember. Everything is a blur and you're still not fully awake even though it's nearly 2:00 in the afternoon. But don't worry, there's still the perfect flavor out there for you. It seems only right to enjoy the flavor "half baked" when your memory is only half there.

Now that you have enough flavor options to last you the whole week, there's nothing that can stop you. Between warm fudge swirls and the cool taste of mint, you're fully covered and prepared for anything that may come your way. So sit down, get that nice little pint out, and get your spoon ready for the most reliable and comforting treat around.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
