Can we all agree that Schmidt from New Girl is one of the funniest characters on any given television show of the 21st century? Now compare his sense of humor with the characteristics of the week days. Funny, right? If Schmidt could rename the days of the week, here is what he would call them and why:

1. Monday - 'Youths!'

Any true fan of the show knows just how much Schmidt hates 'youths' a.k.a. any type of rowdy teenager disturbing the town. That's a Monday for sure.

2. Tuesday - 'Pine has no place in this loft'

Remember that episode when Jess brought home the pine shelves and Schmidt would not have it in his loft because he thinks pine is for poor people? Tuesdays may not just be for those less fortunate, but they are not exciting days. It's still the beginning of the week and there is still such a long week ahead of you. Tuesdays have no place in this loft!

3. Wednesday - 'Schmidt Happens'

Right in the middle of the week, Wednesdays are kind of just there. They're just plain days, not much to complain about but nothing to brag about either.

4. Thursday - 'Driving Moccasins' Day

It's so close to Friday, you're getting ready to put your driving moccasins on and go for a joy ride!

5. Friday - Relaxing 'Mono' Day

What better way to spend the evening after a long week of work than to spend it chilling in a super comfy kimono all night?

6. Saturday - The 'Freakin Weekend'

It's Saturday! Woo! This is by far Schmidt's favorite day.

7. Sunday - Pep Talk Day

While Sunday is still a day without work, the overwhelming thought of the upcoming week is constantly in the back of your mind. Schmidt would definitely use this day to motivate himself to be strong for the rest of the week until the next weekend.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
