Shameless. It's the show everyone seems to be talking about right now. If you haven't watched it yet, it's definitely on your list of Netflix series you need to watch ASAP. It's a show that pushes boundaries, has a wide variety of characters, insane plot twists, and provides the audience with a relatable, interesting view on the world. I don't think I would have ever compared Shameless to a day at my university, but once I finally thought it through, I saw some definite comparisons. So without further ado, here is A Day of Classes: As Told by Shameless.
When the professor tries to call you out because they think you're not listening but then you respond with the right answer.
When class goes from a simple lecture to a pop quiz within a minute.
When you're debating in class and some know it all tries to tear apart your argument.
When you already did the homework but the professor extends the due date.
"Please take notes on the video and write a short 3 page response."
"Most of you did horribly so I curved the grades."
When the professor starts going off about something totally irrelevant to class.
When you ask the teacher why you need to know this information and she hits you with some B.S about how it's super crucial you learn it.
"Attendance is mandatory if you want to pass this class."
When the professor just gives up.
"You absolutely can't finish this paper in one night."
Waiting for the text that class is cancelled.
"I'm about to just end class, no one is listening."
When you read all the negative reviews on ratemyprofessor and tried to give the professor the benefit of the doubt but realize those reviews were right.
And finally...when you've had enough so you just decide to cut the day short and go back to bed.
