A Day In The Life: Fan Girl Edition

Some call it an "obsession," I call it "dedication."

A Day In The Life: Fan Girl Edition

We all have someone that we look up to; however, some people don't have the slightest care in the world how they look to the general public and choose to embrace this quality of theirs. If you're a huge fan of anyone, I guarantee you'll be able to relate to at least a few of these emotions that go through our heads on a daily basis.

1. It's not easy.

Okay, some might laugh at this one. But in all seriousness, it's not easy! It takes more work than you would think to keep up with thousands of accounts that you follow (on your own fan account, might I add).

2. You have to be careful who you tell.. but when you find people just like you, you're thrilled.

It takes a special bond between two people to unveil the love you both have for the same celebrity.

3. You're on the ticket website the second they're on sale.

You hear way too many stories from people to risk getting online even a minute after they go on sale.

4. There's a huge sigh of relief when your order is complete.

It's finally happening. You may be relieved, but then the excitement kicks in.

5. You even start a countdown on your phone.

You're left anxiously waiting as you count down the days. Once you get to double digit days, you can forget about sleeping because that's just not going to happen.

6. When you see them in person, it just confirms that they're real.

Everything. Is. Real. How. Can. This. Be.

7. Between crying here and there, you pull it together and dance with your best friend.

Because your favorite song is on and there's no way you're missing that.

8. And you don't even care what you look like while you're doing it.

Odds are, if you're close enough, the people around you are super fans as well. This makes it a lot easier to not look like that crazy girl that clearly has no rhythm.

9. If you meet them, you're immediately overcome with a variety of emotions.

You're real?!?! Can I hug you?!?!

10. And you notice everything about them.

You can forget everything you were going to say to them - just go ahead and throw it out the window because you'll forget everything in .0038 seconds.

11. But then the concert ends and you go into a huge depression.

It was the best night of your life, and now it's over. Time to start counting down the days until the next album release and tour!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
