One Day

I will never stop loving you, even when death do us part.

One Day
Ariana Clare

One day, the man of my dreams will come and sweep me off my feet, only to find that I've been hurt, torn apart, beaten down and heartbroken. He will learn that I deal with insecurities, anxiety and more stress than a person should be allowed to have. He will learn that I am very independent, emotional, introverted individual.

One day, the man of my dreams will see that I am passionate about so many things. He will learn that I love to dance and perform. He will chase me all over the world when it comes to me and dance. He will learn that I have a dream of being one of the best band directors in the state of Oklahoma... or wherever God takes us. He will see my love for my Native people. He will be supportive of me when I start to get too wild with my passions and dreams.

Future Husband,

Hi, I'm Shelby. I just wanted to let you know that I cannot wait to meet you. You already have my heart, completely, even though it is damaged. I pray for you, as often as I remember. It's not daily, but I'm getting there. I am patient when it comes to meeting you and getting married. In a world full of people who are our age getting married left and right, I can wait. I want to wait.

You are my favorite person. I look forward to getting to know you, learning all your favorite things and living your dreams with you. I support everything you want in life. I promise to be my best for you. Yes, you will have to deal with my crazy schedule, but I still promise to be my best for you.

You amaze me. If you can handle putting up with me and the stress that comes with me, you will do nothing less than amaze me. It takes a special person to be able to handle me, and I'm so happy you are that special person. Sometimes I may make you want to pull your hair out, or scream at the top of your lungs, but you'll see that I'm worth it.

You are a true man of God. You are the head of our household. You lead by perfect example. I can't wait for those days where we can just sit in a coffee shop for hours and study the Bible together. I can't wait for those days where we are both working our tails off at a church camp or on a mission trip. I can't wait to teach our kids about Jesus and His love for us. I can't wait to fellowship with others. I can't wait to do life with you.

Thank you for loving me as I am. Thank you for accepting me for the mess that I am. Thank you for dealing with my strong personality, and making me laugh constantly. Thank you for not making me end friendships because you don't particularly like the fact that I'm friends with other guys. Thank you for loving my dreams as much as I love them. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so thankful for you. I love you now, I love you tomorrow, and I loved you yesterday. I will never stop loving you, even when death do us part.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
