Happy Father's Day in heaven

A Daughter's Guardian Angel

Everyday is a new day. I think of you no matter what time, what day and what month it is. You're a part of me. Everything I do, I feel you're with me. I am thankful to have had a father like you. You were a fighter, lover, friend, husband, and a great person. You would light up a room every time you walked in. You always tried to help your family even when you were sick.

I admire your fight against cancer and God had enough seeing you suffer. You were a good man with good intentions. When your family needed something, you were there to provide help and support. You cooked fixed things that were broken, cleaned and basically anything. You were the definition of a father. You had a free spirited soul. You always put yourself before anyone else. I knew how much you enjoyed fishing and hunting because those were the thing you were interested in.

Being with your family was the number one thing you cared about. Going on trips, going on vacation and spending time with your family was always your favorite. We had some hard times but we managed to get through. You showed unconditional love to your family and always had such a great personality. I look at our pictures together and think, what happened? You were filled with life, joy, if things were rough, you didn't let it phase you. I do have to say, it is different without you here.

I know you're around. There was never a dull moment with you. I know you're watching down on us and you're here in spirit. Nothing is stronger than a daughter's love for her father.

Every day I miss you dearly. I know God had a plan for you and that was to become an angel. I'll always be daddy's little girl.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
