We all know them. Dog Moms. I will be the first to say I am a dog mom. I also will admit, we are crazy over dogs. Which means you will have a lot to deal with when dating a dog mom.

1. We Will Always Point Out Dogs To You

I mean Always. We can see them from a mile away. Usually, we will be in the middle of a story or conversation with you and it will be interrupted by us saying "Look at the puppy!" and regardless we will expect you to look and be just as excited as we are.

2. We Will Constantly Tag You In Dog Videos On Social Media

Oh yes. Even when we are apart from you, we will find ways to show you all the doggos. Our friends and family know us well enough to tag us and share these with us. Causing a chain reaction where you will also get these videos or photos sent to you.

3. We Will Always Want One Or More Dogs At A Time

We probably own a dog if we are a dog mom. So you already know our baby comes with us. Its a package deal I would say. At times we come with one or two, maybe even three if were lucky enough to own that many at a time. But if for some reason we end up married to you, remember, a dog will always be apart of our lives.

4. We Can Probably Tell You All You Need To Know About Dogs

Don't know the breed? We usually do. We can tell you just about all you need to know about these amazing things. They're something we have learned as much as we can so that when the day comes that we are blessed to own any of the breeds, we know all we need to know and then some. Dogs are important, every single one, regardless of size, shape, color or form. Dogs are always perfect.

5. They Will Always Be Puppies. NO Do Not Argue, They Will Always Be Puppies

Do not argue this. We will yell "LOOK AT THE PUPPY", never look at us and say they are a dog. Dogs can be giant, tiny, young or even a senior dog. But no matter what they will all always be puppies. This is one of the most important things to remember if you date a dog mom. The dog will always be called a puppy. We don't care what you say, the dog is a puppy.

Remember these things when choosing to date a girl who is a dog mom or a potential dog mom. Cause it will make everything easier. I promise.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
