We all know it. We all love it. That sweet place that brings so much light into our lives. Serving the best chicken biscuits, waffle fries, and sweet tea that the world has to offer.
That's right, I'm talking about Chick-Fil-A.
My boyfriend is a director for Chick-Fil-A, and, I swear, when people find out, they lose their minds.
So many questions; so did you guys meet at Chick-Fil-A, does he always say "my pleasure" (the answer is yes), or so can he get you in on a Sunday...the list goes on and on.
Things change when you get yourself a Chicken Daddy. Maybe you also start saying "my pleasure" or suddenly you find yourself smiling more. These are things I know to be true, but things that for sure happen are as follows.
1. People ask if you get free Chick-Fil-A
Okay, I will admit that at times when I visit a location where I know people through my boyfriend that I may get an occasional free Ice Dream Cone. However, it's not about that. I don't go to eat for free, I go to support...and because I really, really love their sweet tea.
2. Your coworkers will love you for having the coupons
3. People ask you what's really in the Chick-Fil-A Sauce
The answer my friends is that I also do not know, but the ingredient list is probably a good place to start.
4. You get asked about the cow costume
5. You eat Chick-Fil-A more
I mean I already ate it a lot...
6. You may get to go in on a Sunday
Don't get too excited. I have never eaten there on a Sunday, but that has been a time or two where he has had to go take care of something in the store and I was able to tag along.
7. You love hearing the stories
My boyfriend has worked for Chick-Fil-A since high school and is following his dreams of working toward getting his own store. For him, and myself, this is not a job it is a future, so when I hear him tell stories of his regulars my heart just sings with happiness. Chick-Fil-A really is it's own little community. I get to know so many wonderful individuals because my boyfriend works there.
And you know what, it really is their pleasure!
