Dating On A Budget: 7 Gifts Under $11 That She Will Love

It's true. Women like gifts, but buying gifts doesn't have to empty your wallet. You don't need a big chunk of change to prove that you have a big heart, and women don't expect that. We like to know that we are on your mind, but we also want to enjoy the things that you give to us. Here are seven gifts under $11 that women love.

1. One dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts

It's no surprise that this box of delicious goodness is on the list. Yup, one dozen doughnuts comes in just under $10 at Krispy Kreme (prices may vary in your area). 12 of these beautiful babies are sure to get a gleeful response from your special someone. You can never go wrong with the gift of food.

2. A pair of Victoria's Secret PINK panties

Victoria's Secret is wildly popular. We love it, and we can't get enough of it. They may have a reputation for being a little pricey, but you can actually purchase one pair of PINK brand panties for $10.50. This is a great way to get her a good quality gift for an affordable price. Plus, she will be impressed that you ventured into the depths of the lingerie store on your own. Keep it up; you're doing it right.

3. Bath & Body Works 5 for $6 hand sanitizers

We are women, and we like to smell good. It is not rocket science. Anything with a nice fragrance that looks pretty is something that we are interested in. Bath & Body Works offers 5 PocketBac hand sanitizers for $6. The great part about this gift is that it is cheap, and we will use it all the time (win, win).

4. OPI Nail Lacquer nail polish

Oh, the wonderful world of nail polish. We want every color in the rainbow and all of the ones in between. The great thing about nail polish is that it's inexpensive, so you can throw in a nail file or buffer to go with it. Just make sure to get a brand that is efficient (I chose OPI). If you get stumped on what shade to get her, try her favorite color or something that you think she would wear. You know her best; don't overthink it.

5. Rue 21 perfume

Once again, women like anything that smells nice. Fortunately, Rue 21 has an awesome variety of perfumes for $9.99. It's a shockingly good deal for perfume that smells fantastic. Choose a fragrance that you wouldn't mind lingering on her.

6. Personalized Mix CD

This is probably one of the best gifts that any woman can receive. Nothing says that you care more than creating a personalized playlist for her. We love that you have put effort and thought into it. Also, it's really cheap to make a mix CD. If you're choosing songs that are already in your library, you only have to purchase a blank CD for this gift. Don't forget to scribble something cute on the CD to add a personalized touch. She will play it on repeat for months.

7. Netflix membership

This is the gift that keeps on giving. You can get a standard Netflix membership for $9.99 a month. I know, I know. This is a monthly gift, but it is a great gift. She will get more use out of this than almost anything else that you could buy for her, and you can use it as well. It can also fill the void of wondering what to do for date night. Netflix may seem like a bit of a commitment, but it's better than a gift. In the famous words of Shia LaBeouf, "Just do it."

There you have it. Seven great gift ideas for a realistic budget. See, we aren't really that hard to please.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
