When you are dating someone or "talking" to someone, you should always be yourself. Never try to be someone you are not, because the right person will come along and love you just the way you are. I will be the first to admit that I am guilty of dressing a certain way or acting a particular way so someone would like me. I quickly realized that God made me who I am for a reason, and I should always be myself. Be you and only you.

If you are looking for "the perfect guy," then you will be searching for him forever. There is no such thing as "the perfect person" for you. Yes, I truly believe that God has picked someone special for me, but I know he will have his flaws just like I do. Of course we will have several things in common, but I will accept the things that we do not have in common. No one is perfect and everyone has different interests and hobbies. I will be more than glad to do what he likes to do because spending time with him is what truly matters the most. Be open, understanding, and accepting.

There are so many things that each partner should do for one another. Remember girls, you should treat your guy just as great as he treats you. It takes two people to build a relationship and make it work. When you are questioning whether or not a certain guy is right for you, ask yourself if he does any of the things listed below. He's a keeper if he does more than half of these things on the list:

1. He brings you flowers just because.

2. He has a relationship with God.

3. He is faithful.

4. He does the little things for you, such as writing a thoughtful note or asking how your day was.

5. He is always honest.

6. Can accept when he is wrong, but can also tell you when you are wrong.

7. He takes you to your favorite places.

8. He can plan a date without your input.

9. He surprise visits.

10. He gives unexpected gifts.

11. He respects your family.

12. He gets along with your friends.

13. He is always up for a lazy movie night.

14. He will tag along with you on your shopping trips.

15. Calls you randomly just to talk

16. Sends you sweet text messages

17. He accepts you for who you are.

18. He supports you in all of your endeavors.

19. He listens to your awful singing and does not complain.

20. He is ambitious.

21. He is a "glass half full" kind of guy.

22. He laughs with you (and at you sometimes).

23. He makes you smile constantly.

24. He is your best friend.

I know there are numerous things that every partner should do for one another, but these are 25 points that came to my mind. Be yourself and treat your guy the way you want to be treated.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
