She is rare, she is unpredictable, wild at times—but she'll brighten up your world, and never leaves you second guessing what truly makes you happy.

You'll get caught just watching, watching how she walks, breathes, sighs, the little things will leave you astonished. She'll move swiftly, she'll breathe with the trees, with every sigh she takes, you won't be able to do anything but be stuck in wonder and awe as to what she could possibly be thinking about.

There are more questions to her than answers, but you won't mind, because every day will be different than the last, every day will be a new adventure, every day she will leave you wondering why you didn't meet her sooner, and when you close your eyes at night, you'll realize why it didn't work with anyone else.

She know's what it means to give. She finds passion in helping those around her, and making sure all is happy before she's happy herself. If it's her time, her love, or her herself, she is willing to give it all if it means it will make one person smile, or laugh, she leaves people in amazement at all she can accomplish.

You'll find yourself wondering how she does it all, how she gives that much of her time to others, how committed she is to every single thing she sets her mind on, but it bother you that she is busy, but rather, it will ignite a flame in yourself to accomplish more, and be a better you.

She will never lose her faith. Whether it is her faith in her religion, her faith in her passion, or her faith in you, she will never lose it. A girl with an old soul has faith in the imaginable, in the unseeable, in the magical. That's what makes her so soulful, she'll know when to listen, when to lend her ear, and when to never give up on a person. Her eyes are always wide open to new concepts and ideas. You'll find a sparkle in her eyes that you have never seen before, it's the sparkle of determination and an ease about her.

She's not quick to worry, or to panic because she has faith that everything will work out the way God has planned it too.

She'll appreciate the small things on a level that will utterly surprise you.

You'll ask her to take her out to a movie, or to dinner. But the materialistic things don't matter to her. She'll look at you, grab you by the hand and pull you close to her on the couch, she'll light a candle, maybe two, and tell you endless stories of who she wants to be, and what she wants to do. She'll surprise you by all the knowledge she can fit in her head, but you'll never become annoyed or distant, because everything she is saying you genuinely care about because you genuinely care about her, you can't help yourself, she just has that effect on you. She'll want to go on adventures with you, adventures where you can see the world and experience things that you could do only in your dreams. She'll make you believe in the unbelievable, and give you faith you never thought you could obtain.

She deserves the love she keeps trying to give everyone else. She deserves to feel the way she makes people feel.

When she walks into a room, I promise, you won't want to look away, you will be captivated by the ambiance she extrudes from her entire being.

You'll be left speechless by the way she captivates the entire room by the way she carries herself. Her head will be held high, and yours will be as well, because she is yours, and she has given herself to you. She's a girl with an old soul, and she's the girl that will change your world in more ways than one. Take a leap of faith, and see where it could land you.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
