Every sorority girl understands the struggle of preparing for a date party. With all of the spray tans, makeup, outfits, etc. the preparation tends to become a little pricy. Here are some easy ways to find exactly what you need for a price that won't break your tight budget.
1. Spray Tan
The best and cheapest spray tan I've come across in the Tuscaloosa area was $29.99 at Tanning Oasis (located in the downtown area). They gave me the perfect brown tan (not a yucky orange color) and it lasted for over a week. With that price, you truly can't beat it. St. Tropez is another great option. St. Tropez is an at home DIY tan but still gives you a flawless golden look overnight. It doesn't last quite as long as a spray but does the trick for the night and has enough to keep reusing.
2. Outfits
Searching for the perfect outfit over and over again can get extremely pricy (not to mention how dirty date party dresses and heels get). So spending an arm and a leg at a cute boutique just isn't an option. The first and cheapest place to look is your roommate, best friend, or sisters closet. They may have worn it before, but on you it's a completely new (and FREE!!) outfit. Unfortunately, sometimes this may not always work but fret not, some of the cutest online stores are also some of the cheapest. Tobi is an online shop and a go to for most date party outfits. Tobi has dresses for as cheap as $10.00. Forever21, Boohoo, lulus, and Revolve's sale section are also other great options for finding that perfect outfit, without having to spend a fortune.
3. Makeup
As an avid makeup user I am here to tell you sometimes the best products don't come from Sephora or MAC. Target is great for last minute makeup products such as fake eye lashes, mascara, cheap brushes and makeup remover. The e.l.f. cosmetic line at Target is extremely cheap and offers a variety of different options. You're sure to find exactly what you need for a price that fits your college budget.
