First of all, if you're not familiar with the little girl I'm talking about, I'm referencing the coolest kid on this planet. A few days ago, I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a viral post about this inspirational little human. Apparently, it was "Princess Day" at the little girl's dance class and she showed up dressed as a hotdog among all the other children dressed up as their favorite Disney princesses. A few days later, I shared a meme that said, "In a world full of Princesses, be a hotdog" and in reality, it's true. The bottom line? This kid gets it. She is so wise beyond her years and she doesn't even realize it.

Dear Little Dancing Hotdog,

You are definitely the coolest person I know of, I don't know any other person that would have the courage to be their truest self as you have and I want you to know that your bravery is one of the most important and rare qualities a person can have. I understand that You're young and you may not be concerned with things like this right now, but I want you to know that later in life you will be told by so many people that it's not right to be a hotdog. These people are everywhere unfortunately, and they can be rude, selfish, and even mean, but stand your ground. Don't be afraid to be different from everyone around you, after all, there is only one you and you have the right to become anything you want to be. There will be times when you'll look at the other people, dressed up like royalty, and you'll wonder, "Why did I do this? Why can't I just be normal, like everyone else?" You're not normal because that's not who you're supposed to be, you were not born to blend in with everyone else. You were created by God to be the best version of yourself possible and I hope you honor your individuality to the best of your abilities. I want to thank you so much for being such a light to everyone and bringing everyone so much joy, I know as you continue to grow up, your personality and perspective will continue to shine. And if you ever find yourself down because you're a hotdog, just remember that you are so amazing and you have the power in your heart to make the world better. So, go and be the best hotdog you can be, little one. You're going places, kid.

Keep Shining,

Hannah

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.

College students, you might be able to relate to this one. These probably sound familiar because we often tell ourselves these phrases; however, we are unable to follow or agree with these the following, deep down inside of our overwhelmed, tired minds.

1. "No more spending money on useless things"

Until you walk into a 99 cents store and suddenly have the urge to pick up anything that's less than a dollar.

For the past few months, I have not been my usual happy-go-lucky-self for a number of reasons, but one thing that has been helping me is to think about all of the little things in my life that I am thankful for. I know this might seem really cliché, but it is so true. I cannot stress enough how much better I feel when I think about all the great people and privileges I have in my life. It makes all of the insignificant things that I am stressing about or worrying about in my head seem not nearly as bad. I have decided to make a list of 26 things (out of many more) in my life that I am especially thankful for.
