Dalton Rapattoni is the next big thing in music. He's incredibly unique, really hot, amazingly talented and has a huge fan base already. Rapattoni is unlike anything we've heard before. He has something special, something intriguing about him, that makes everyone curious about what he'll do next.
Dalton Louis Rapattoni started out as just a nobody from Sunnyvale, Texas. When he was nine, Dalton was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. At age 11, he started playing guitar and realized music was his passion. Music helped him cope with being bipolar. Then he went to School Of Rock as a student and learned to be an even better musician. He even became a music teacher there for a while. Rapattoni also formed a band with his friends called Fly Away Hero (They have some great songs, you should check them out). When Dalton was 15 he moved to LA to audition for pop band IM5. He was in IM5 for about three years and then decided to leave the group. He moved back to Sunnyvale and returned to Fly Away Hero. By this point he had gained some fame, but it was nothing compared to now. Last year he tried out for American Idol singing "Phantom of the Opera" and made it through. He flew through each week and made it all the way to the final three before being eliminated. Although it was the end of his time in American Idol, it was only the beginning of his music career.
Rapattoni is incredibly unique. He makes every song he sings his own. He "daltonizes" his performances. His style of music is very different, he sings alternative pop. There are not a lot of people that song his style of music and because of that he'll go far.
He is really hot. Now, I know musical talent is not based on looks, but hey, good looks definitely don't hurt. He has beautiful, sea-green eyes and messy, blonde hair. He wears guy-liner, which only makes his eyes pop even more. His style is unique and slightly edgy. He also has tattoos. Who doesn't love a guy with some ink? He has two flowers, an arrow and the word nobody.
He is amazingly talented. His voice is absolutely amazing, his guitar and piano skills are awesome, and his song writing ability is incredible. He's written multiple songs with very meaningful lyrics. Most recently, he wrote a song called "Stop" about a person committing suicide. It's really sad, especially for me, because I think of my friend Cal who died the same way every time I hear it. Dalton also wrote a song called "Trust Nobody" with his band Fly Away Hero. I love everything about that song. He also sings a song with Fly Away Hero that he wrote with his bandmates called "Hercules". Hercules is about being thrown out and unwanted and realizing that you are strong enough to deal with it. The lyrics say "until I reached the ocean floor and decided I won't take it anymore. I swam and swam out of the deep and I crawled my way out of the sea. And I reached the land where I knew I belonged and I was strong. I was strong. And if there is a mountain I can make it move. When the sky is falling I can hold it for you. And I will keep on fighting till I make you see, I'm as strong as hercules." It's a great song. Another awesome song he wrote is "Superman" which he sang eith IM5. Dalton puts emotion into every song he sings. When you hear him sing, he makes you feel something. That's what music is about. Feelings and emotions. Dalton is currently working on his first solo album and I can't wait to here it.
Rapattoni has a huge fanbase. He has 162,000 followers on Twitter and 235,000 followers on Instagram. Dalton calls his fans "nobodies". The reason for this is because he's trying to make being nobody a positive thing. He's trying to say we're all nobodies and you're not alone even though you think you are. All the nobodies together can make a difference. So many people think they're nobody, they feel like they don't matter. The idea of Dalton calling his fans nobodies is to make them see that they do matter. Dalton cares so much about his fans because without them, without us, he'd be nowhere. He has followed a lot of his fans (including me) on Twitter and he's constantly thanking them for supporting him. Rapattoni is about to go on the first leg of his meet and greet tour through School Of Rock. He's going around the country to meet and personally thank all of his fans. I only hope I'll be lucky enough to go to one of these intimate and exclusive meet and greets. He's truly someone special and he is most definitely on his way to stardom. Dalton Rapattoni will always be a self proclaimed "nobody" but to the rest of the world he's certainly starting to become somebody.
