The Dallas Cowboys have a big task upcoming during week 8 of the season, During that time Tony Romo will be healthy enough to play again. He is currently recovering from a back injury which he later got surgery for. Now the current starting quarterback for him is Dak Prescott. Being a rookie that was drafted so late he has surprised people so far. The Cowboys are currently 4-1 with him as the starter which is first place in the NFC East. He has no interceptions in 5 games as the starer. He has been playing like a veteran but he is only a rookie. With having great chemistry and showing great locker room poise the Cowboys have to decide to keep Dak as the starter. The advantage with keeping Dak as the starter is that he is familiar with the team. Now on the other side of the spectrum you have a disadvantage with taking him out as the current starter. Putting Romo in changes the whole team because he is slower and also injury prone. Defenses will know that he is not going to run with the ball compared to Prescott. The fact that Romo is a veteran he is familiar with finishing out a season right.
He is less likely to make mental errors since he has been a starting quarterback for 8 plus years. Putting Romo back in the lineup can be bad because he can be rusty after not playing for a long time. Then this can cause him to possibly re injure his back in his return. Being in his late 30s his body can not heal like it was once able to. Someone that is winning right now for the team should continue to be stater for the Cowboys. Dak being a rookie this could help him build up his confidence for later years in the NFL (National Football League). He is on the come up compared to Tony being so much on the come down. Dak is younger so he has more time to come for him being a starting quarterback compared to Tony who his almost at the end of time as far as playing football. The Cowboys have a hard decision which is keep the rookie that is inning games for them. While on the other hand keeping the veteran that won games for their organization in the past.
