Many of you may recall Dakota Johnson as the actress that starred in the movie, "50 Shades of Grey." In honor of Johnson's new movie, "How To Be Single," which comes out Feb. 11, here are some of my favorite looks she has worn out and about.

1. The bomber.

Here, Johnson is sporting a silk bomber jacket. Bomber jackets are very on trend, and depending on the color or pattern, they can really complete any look. Hers in particular is embroidered with floral print. Her outfit is very plain sticking to one solid color, in this case the jacket brightens up the look. Although it is a different color, a similar style bomber jacket can be from Zara. Her shoes are the adidas Samba sneakers.

2. Business grunge.

This is by far one of my favorite outfits she has worn. In this outfit, Johnson does something most people would probably find unusual. She brings the grunge and business style together. The mom jeans, plaid tied around the waist, and Doc Martins have a '90s vibe to it. While the blazer makes the outfit look business casual. You can find great pairs of mom jeans at topshop, however if it is out of your price range the thrift store always has a great selection for way cheaper!

3. Overalls.

Converse always look a bit better when they are dirty rather than squeaky clean. In this look, Johnson is wearing a pair of white overalls, but instead of the classic overalls, they have a rip in the knees. A similar pair of overalls can be found on Asos. They do not have rips, but you can always DIY! She keeps a light and neutral color palette with the taupe button down.

4. Animal print.

This outfit would be very simple if it were not for the jacket. Johnson is wearing a white and black ringer tee with jeans; the animal print coat really brings the look together. She chooses neutral colors so that the jacket is not too extravagant. You can find a similar printed coat at Forever 21.

5. Textured sweater.

In this final look, Johnson is wearing a fuzzy sweater, which adds texture to her look. She wears a light wash pair of shorts which are distressed with black tights underneath, to match the sweater. It is very difficult to find similar textured sweaters like the one Johnson is wearing in fast fashion retail stores, however there are some online shops such as Depop and Poshmark where you can buy used ones.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
