A shadow that consumes infinitely

Infinitely and critically;

A shadow that lurks above

Beckoning its façade;

Bustling with elation

We pave our own demise in pursuit of inanimatity

In the pursuit of glamor, the exuberance of fortune

But then it's too late,

You're in it's grasp

You drown your sorrows in opulence

But your sorrows learn how to swim

You suspend ever so gracefully,

Lifeless,

The ominous shadow still lurking above
