Standards:

The strings that tie us down,

making sure that we don't get too far off the ground.


How to act.

How to look.

How to live.


Don't eat this.

Don't wear that.

Don't act like that.


We are all just puppets in society's play.


Cut the strings,

let yourself be free.

Immerse yourself into the endless possibilities.


Wear what you like and act how you wish.

Your size doesn't determine which boy or girl you'll kiss,

And your sex doesn’t limit how you behave.


Society is not strong enough to hold you down,

Lift your feet off of the ground.

Act how you would...


If no one else was around.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
