I think it's safe to say the news has been grim lately. People are fighting about whether or not we should punch Nazis. One name, which I will not utter here, dominates every news site. Many who have never been involved before are delving into these discourses and battles, and are becoming intimately familiar with the depression, hopelessness, and irritation that comes with "wokeness."

However, life goes on, and not all is terrible. Our furry companions, unaware of larger sociopolitical issues, continue getting into pickles and shenanigans, much to our chagrin and joy.
