The Prayer I Will Be Saying This Week

When you need to talk to Jesus about life

The Prayer I Will Be Saying This Week

Dear Jesus,

Ugh. Wow. I've had so many emotions this week. There has been a lot of crying (even though it was not necessary haha.) Thanks for keeping me alive and well for yet another week. You're the best.

Please keep my friends safe. I love them so much and I am so glad you have placed them in my life and me in theirs. I ask you to bless them and their families. Please always help in their tough times and help them make the right decision.

Also, help me to make the right decision all the time. Sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me and act of because of it. Since I am a teenage girl, I have lots of different emotions, and they don't just come sporadically, they are present all the time. That gets really annoying.

Oh yeah, some boys have been trying me and my friends at lunch lately. Give me the patience and grace to deal with them. Please bless their lives and lead them to know you further, Father, so that they can live a life of fulfillment which is according to your plan.

Junior year is hard. Continue to help me not to rip my hair out during pre-calculus. I pray for all my teachers and ask you to give them all life has for them. Please give them peace and serenity (and mercy) in crazy chaotic times such as finals week. Help them to teach to their best ability and help fulfill their potential to be fantastic instructors.

Please keep my family healthy and well during this holiday season when we seem to see so much more people than we normally would. Please keep us stable financially and provide whatever you would have for us, Father.

Help America to stay united Jesus. Help us to get through this time of pain and hardships. Please give us a reign of rest, peace, happiness, and growth as a country.

Please keep our military and those serving our country safe throughout their duties. Help them to live another day so that they can go home to their families safe and sound. Bless them, father, for laying down their life to serve our country.

Thank you for all you provide, Jesus. Thank you for dying on the cross so that my sins would be taken care of. That was insanely generous and loving of you. Thank you for giving me a home. Thank you for providing me with a family. Thank you for letting me have an education. Thank you for giving me the best nation in the world to live in.

You truly are the best, Jesus. Thanks for being great and loving and powerful and fantastic. I love you so much!

With all my love and compassion,

Tori

"Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

-Isaiah 40:28-31

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

11 Signs You Grew Up In Hauppauge, NY

Because no one ever really leaves.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
