Have unruly curly hair? Is it too voluminous? Doesn't it bother people? Do they always want to touch it? Yeah, I have the same problems. Do you remember all the sleep you lost just to get your hair in the right curl pattern in the morning, or all the time you spent frying your hair under a dryer to keep it straight?

I've cried a million times about the struggles my hair has given me over the past few years, and I'm sure you have, too. Through the hardships that we face everyday just from our hair alone, it's always nice to laugh a little at our pain and cry a little when we have to deal with it. So let's reminisce on our "Curly Hair Problems" together.

1. Every time you straighten your hair, it's a battle with:

Your salon stylist,

Nature.

Or simply just the beast itself.

2. Speaking of combing or brushing the hair, you never do it unless you have to. Detangling is always the way to go, but even then...

3. When we do comb our hair, oh boy, is it a mess.

4. But if you don't comb it for a while, shrinkage is a real thing:

5. How about all the times you tried to do your hair the way the cute vloggers do?

6. "Well if everything else doesn't work, you could always tie it in a bun."

HOW!?!?!

7. Technically, you could just do a wash and go and pray for the best. Or have humidity bite you in the ass.

8. Now going to bed is easy. Your hair is it's own pillow. Perfect for car road trips. But in the morning...

9. What's the worst part? The stupid questions about your hair? Of course that's the worst part. (Like dealing with your hair isn't hard enough.)

The most common questions are:

1. How do you make your hair do that? You know, how do you make it curly?

2. It's so fluffy! Can I touch your hair?

3. Are you sure it's long? It doesn't look like it. I think you cut your hair.

All in all, life with curly hair is hard. It's frustrating, time consuming, and just plain tiring. All I can say is, try not to do this:

Because honestly, at 8AM every morning, this is all I think about. Then I think about how trying just a little every morning, and I can just be proud to have my hair the way it is, just like all the other curly haired girls.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
