If you are like me and your mind tends to wander, you may ask yourself a lot of really random questions. These questions may not ever help you in life ,except for maybe in an intense game of trivia, but for some odd reason your brain just tells you that it is essential that you need to know what the top speed of a dairy cow is. Not just any cow, specifically a dairy cow (the answer is around 15-20 mph if this genuinely bothered anyone else). For us select few, these are the questions that keep us up at night. No, these questions might not hold any real importance which will help us tremendously in life; however, the fact that curiosity is the driving force behind these questions is what makes them important. The curious mind is one which cannot be stopped. It is said that curiosity killed the cat, but that is only the case because when someone who is truly curious puts their mind to something, they will not cease until they have the answers they want.
You see, without questions, our life would be tremendously boring. The quest for knowledge is what keeps the human experience alive. Without that spark of curiosity, without the need to learn, we will never progress, never evolve, and humanity will cease to exist.
